Location was very good just outside the old town but very close to the main Railway Station and on a direct bus from the Airport (Bus 2). The ferry terminal can be done in a brisk 30 minute walk or via bus/tram. The building has been tastefully refurbished and the rooms are very comfortable with full bath and shower facilities and excellent WIFI. There is also a nice courtyard to sit out in when the weather allows this. The breakfast is very good with very fresh ingredients and plenty of choice.

The location is fantastic, close to the old town and all city locations. Excellent breakfast. Very comfortable bed with topper. SPECIAL THANKS TO KEVIN, the reception manager who made our stay nice and solved all our problems in 5 minutes. Really human attention and great service.

Location is strict city centre, breakfast is perfect, the hotel has spa and friendly , polite staff. Prices are really affordable..

I had a nice stay! from check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and well-organized. The staff was very welcoming, special mention for the receptionist with glasses (apologies I did not note his name). Breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh, delicious options. The hotel's location was also perfect, close to key attractions. The spa facilities were immaculately maintained, with a wonderful sauna and steam room.

The building of this hotel is stunning and the location is just perfect. You can even walk to the old town as it is very close by. We spent some days during the Christmas season in the hotel and enjoyed the cozy decoration and the pretty Christmas lights! We had a shared room for three, and we found the room a bit small (which is very subjective view of course). The room had everything we needed, it was very clean and quiet! We did not eat in the hotel so we can’t say anything about the food. The receptionist has been extraordinary kind. Overall exceptional service of the staff members. Thanks a lot!

Liked a lot about the hotel. It has plenty of character which is what we were looking for. Very picturesque courtyard, small, intimate restaurant which was very good with good service. Rooms, whilst not huge, were good by European standards. Onlt downside of the rooms was a shower over bath and the bath has very high which was tricky to get in and out. Location of the hotel was great, just on the fringes of the Old Town, approx 10 minute walk into the main area.

This hotel has the Big 3: clean, comfortable, and convenient. We loved the classic design of the building and interior with lots of natural materials like stone, wood, and bricks. All of the staff were pleasant and helpful. Our room on the 2nd floor of the main building overlooked the courtyard with its fountain and gentle music. It was lovely - worth requesting! The breakfast was generous and tasty. We walked from the hotel to the old town in about 15 minutes. We also walked to the city centre and a couple of shopping malls, so we appreciated the convenient location. Bolt taxis are a quick and inexpensive option as well.

The von Stackelberg is a lovely hotel. I really enjoyed my 4 days there. Very close to the Old Town and Balti Jaam market. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good and they have a lovely restaurant. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful and comfortable room. The breakfast was tasty and surprisingly good for a small hotel. We were also pleasantly surprised that access to the mini SPA was included in the room rate — a very nice bonus!

The location was excellent because all the places we visited were close and the bus stops were close, too, when we used buses. The hotel room was quite silent at night even though our room was next to the road. The room was nice and cosy. It had AC. When we came back to the hotel late in the night there was someone at reception. I don't know what's their schedules but this was actually nice if you need something.
